Monte Farber was born in Brooklyn, NY. He studied comparative religion and became interested in astrology in 1974 when he met his future wife and artistic collaborator, Amy Zerner. The Dogon people in Mali are famous for their masked funerary dances. Their elaborate masks are intended to placate ancestral spirits. They represent the whole world of the Dogon with a wide variety of totem objects including people, mammals, birds and reptiles. Dancers often wear the Kananga (creation) mask – this dance involves leaping high into the air in a state of frenzied excitement, then bending low down to touch the ground with the top of the mask.

Happy New Year,--- Thanks for inviting me to The Enchanted World social network.I'm on a lot of them but needless to say this one is special to me because of my personal experience with the Enchanted World and you. You remember I used your The Enchanted Tarot Deck when I was working as a reader for Psychic Friends about 12 years ago? I had gone through hundreds of other decks really!Really! trying to find the right one and I ended up using yours.... The Enchanted Tarot in my work. I got such amazing results and gave such intricate details to my clients about little things that they asked about...... Like where they had lost something exactly and they called back to tell me they found it . I gave people winning numbers to play in the lottery, I told them the exact birthday of their unborn childre as well as the sex, I described unknowable detatils about where they lived, their pets ,family and many many facts I could not have possibly known. No other deck of the many hundreds I tried gave those kinds of results.
I really was facinated with Amy's tapestries and the detailed weaving of delicate fabrics together to create the artwork when I saw them in the galleries in East Hampton. There is nothing else like that I have ever seen. I don't know I can't explain it but it merged with my psychic senses and wove a spell of magic that produced amazingly detailed psychic impressions spontaneously and effortlessly . I have no idea how!! I have retired from being a psychic now. I'm enjoying this site and invited lots of friends here. .
